The eclipse arrived on the evening of the 12th August.  Not a total eclipse but producing a strange light.

Time to make jam

It's jam making time!  Not so much fruit around this year.  Last year we had a bumper crop of fruit and made several varieties.  This year it seems to be only an abundance of blackberries only. Anyway that was our most popular jam last year.  Mum would be pleased her preserving pan is still in use.
